When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

For my New Media Class, my prompt was; Cloning. Apparently they found a very well preserved wooly mammoth so they tried to take its DNA and implant it into an elephant mother who would give birth to the mammoth. The Mother will just flip a shit and wonder why the hell her child is so damn hairy. But who cares, when you've got a potential Jurrasic Park on your hands. So, my idea was to show this by making twin fetuses in the womb except one is jacked on rogain.
CommentsYour description gave me a laughing fit, lol.
I'm not surprised that you could make a womb cross section cute. -- Artblog: [link] |

My only comment would be that while the womb does look like a womb, I have no idea what an elephant womb looks like, and depending on the emotional intent of the piece it may seem a bit macabre.
To be less direct, you could consider something like implying the mother elephant in a negative outline or something like that.
The womb depiction does work, of course, but that's my personal take on it. I think it'd be fine for most magazines that were to run an article about cloning, especially if they were talking about the mammoth cloning procedure in particular.
